Programs for Immigrants
The Training and Upgrading Fund and the 1199SEIU National Benefit Fund sponsor the Citizenship program, which provides members and their families, free of charge, assistance with the immigration and naturalization process for becoming a U.S. citizen.
In addition, the Foreign-Trained Professionals Program, also free of charge, assists foreign-born RNs and MDs in becoming RNs in New York state.
