Holiday Sleep-Away Program (HSAP)
Many parents need childcare when their children are on school holiday breaks in February and April. The Holiday Sleep-Away Program at Hands In 4 Youth (the home of Camp Vacamas) creates a fun and educational experience for all participants. The program focuses on STEAM activity options in science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics; team-building exercises; arts and crafts; team sports and games; high and low ropes challenge courses; hiking; outdoor recreation; and nature exploration. Children are encouraged to make new friends and are supported through personal growth in an enriching and safe environment.
Children attend two sessions (five days and four nights per session) during the winter AND spring recesses at Hands In 4 Youth (the home of Camp Vacamas) in West Milford, New Jersey. The camp is accredited by the American Camp Association and operates in a facility with a heated living area, as well as indoor and outdoor activity spaces. Summer Day Camp Voucher (SDCV)
To ensure that the children of members living in New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Upstate New York and Long Island have the chance to experience the joys of summer camp, we offer a Summer Day Camp Voucher. You may use the voucher only for day camp that are licensed or registered by the city, county, or state. Special Needs Summer Day Camp (SNSDC)
If your child has special needs, we’ll subsidize summer day camp at the special needs site of your choice. You must indicate the name of the camp and the type of special need your child has on your application. Read More »
