Disability for Home Care Employees

Your disability benefits are provided through the state. While you are receiving disability benefits, you are still eligible for the same coverage you had before your disability. This coverage may continue for up to a maximum of 26 weeks within a 52-week period. You must notify the Fund when you begin to receive disability benefits through the state and submit copies of your disability payment stubs to the Fund’s Eligibility Department as proof of your continued disability.
