Co-payments Eliminated for 1199SEIU Greater New York Patients
Effective January 1, 2019, your 1199SEIU Greater New York Benefit Fund (GNYBF) patients will no longer have co-payments for the following services:
- Primary care physician and specialist visits
- CT scan, PET scan, MRI, MRA and other high-end radiology services
Your GNYBF patients will soon receive new 1199SEIU Health Benefits ID cards listing the new co-payments; when seeing patients, please be sure to request the new ID card and make a copy for your records. Going forward, please do not collect these co-payments, and you will be reimbursed the full fee schedule, including the co-payment amount.
