Greater New York Benefit Fund Members May Now File for Claims Reimbursement Online
The Greater New York Benefit Fund (GNYBF) covers most healthcare services for your 1199SEIU employees and members, with no out-of-pocket expenses to them. However, at times, they may need to file a claim to be reimbursed for payments they made for a covered expense, such as a new pair of eyeglasses or secondary expenses for dependents. Now they can submit their claims and upload documents online, which will help expedite reimbursement. Online claims reimbursement is our latest enhancement to help members better access their benefits. My Account also allows them to request a pension estimate, apply for their pension benefit, coordinate spousal benefits and update personal information. To learn more, your 1199SEIU employees and members may visit www.1199SEIUBenefits.org and log in to My Account.

In addition to Optimal Resume, the GNYEF offers members one-on-one counseling sessions to highlight new job opportunities, assists in researching available programs and services, and works with members to create specific plans to help them reach their academic and career goals.
