Advanced Training Initiative:

This 4-module training is available to nursing home workers and is part of the Advanced Training Initiative (ATI) that is funded by the New York State Department of Health, and is a collaborative effort between the employers, 1199SEIU United Health Care Workers East, and the 1199SEIU Training and Employment Funds.

The modules are as follows:

• 1) Creating a Welcoming Environment for New Residents
• 2) Communication
• 3) Pain Assessments
• 4) Reducing Re-Hospitalizations
