Your Health Benefits
When you read the statistics, it makes you realize how fortunate 1199SEIU members are to have some of the best health coverage in the nation.
While a majority of workers in the U.S. have health coverage through their employers, almost all of them have co-pays, co-insurance, deductibles and premiums that can add up to thousands of dollars in out-of-pocket costs each year.
But your coverage is different. Most 1199SEIU members enjoy unparalleled health coverage with little or no money out of pocket, while other members pay modest co-pays and premiums for high-quality care.
