You are encouraged to take advantage of the low-cost, high-quality education offered through the colleges of the City University of New York (CUNY), select colleges of the State University of New York (SUNY) and select schools of Touro College.
The Tuition Assistance Voucher Program allows you to take courses without paying upfront tuition costs. The benefit provides you with a voucher that covers a maximum of six credits per semester for required courses (courses that satisfy program requirements leading to an undergraduate or graduate degree).
Vouchers are not provided for non-credit courses. Before enrolling in any program, discuss your plans with one of our counselors to ensure your program is approved for a voucher since there are some non-healthcare majors that the benefit does not cover. In general, programs that advance your career with your employer or are in a healthcare-related field are approved.
Fall Semester: August 1 – September 30
Summer Semester: May 1 – June 30
Winter/Spring Semesters: November 1 – January 31
- A minimum GPA of 2.0 must be maintained.
- All required coursework must be completed with a minimum grade of “C.”
- Courses taken as Pass/Fail must be passed with a “P”
- Accelerated RN Program Tuition Applicants must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5.
You must complete the Upgrade Strategies Workshop if this is the last semester in your program.
