The National Benefit Fund has partnered with Aetna to administer your dental benefit through a Dental Maintenance Organization (DMO). This plan provides access to a broad network of dentists, with no out-of-pocket costs for preventive services and no annual maximum benefit limit. In this plan, you choose a Primary Care Dentist from the Aetna network who will coordinate all your dental needs and provide you with referrals to specialists. COBRA allows you to extend your health benefits when your Benefit Fund coverage ends due to a “qualifying event.”
This benefit provides a financial cushion if you are temporarily unable to work due to non-work-related accidents, injury or illness.
New York State’s Paid Family Leave (PFL) benefit is administered at no cost to NBF members.
Provided through your employer, this benefit provides health and wage benefits if you are injured or become ill at work.
