The Child Care Advisory Committee
The Child Care Advisory Committee is comprised of 1199SEIU members from participating institutions who help to shape the Funds’ programs in various communities, act as liaisons between institutions and the Funds, give the Funds important feedback on programs used, and help to register members during the registration period.
Responsibilities of the Advisory Committee include:
- Meeting monthly
- Informing new and current members of Child Care Fund programs
- Providing feedback on members’ child care needs to ensure their ability to balance work and family
