The Benefit Funds Have Your 1199SEIU Patients Covered During the COVID-19 Pandemic
During this COVID-19 pandemic, the Benefit Funds have worked to support the care that you, our valued partners, provide to your 1199SEIU patients by helping to ensure they can access the testing and medical care they need. The Funds are covering diagnostic testing for the coronavirus, as well as antibody testing when ordered by a doctor, but we do not cover employment-related testing. We are also waiving certain co-pays for Greater New York and Home Care members, and continuing to cover telehealth services for all eligible medical and mental health services. Please note that while the Benefit Funds’ physical offices are currently closed, we are continuing to provide essential services with remote staffing. We encourage you to use our self-service options to check patient eligibility, and benefit and claim status information by visiting our provider portal at www.NaviNet.net. The Benefit Funds Will Reopen at Our New Location in Late Summer
The Benefit Funds, along with the Union, are moving to a new location in Manhattan: 498 Seventh Avenue, at West 37th Street. The move has faced some delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic and is now scheduled to take place at the end of the summer.
