As an 1199SEIU member, you have peace of mind knowing you can count on a deﬁned beneﬁt pension when you retire. And now, applying for your pension has gotten easier with our new online pension application process!
If you’re ready to retire, just log on to My Account (or create an account if you don’t have one) from the privacy and convenience of your home. From the “My Pension” tab, select “Apply for Pension” from the dropdown menu and follow the steps shown. You’ll be able to review and edit your personal information and work history, check out different pension and beneﬁciary options, upload all the documents you’ll need to get your pension, and more. You’ll also know right away if you’re missing any information or didn’t complete the application correctly.

If you’re close to retirement, you can always get a pension estimate online too by visiting My Account. From the “My Pension” tab, choose “Request & Review Pension Estimate” from the dropdown menu. Then click on the “Request Pension Estimate” button, follow the steps shown and you’re ﬁnished!
