Change to CVS Caremark on July 1
The 1199SEIU Benefit Funds will be changing pharmacy benefit providers from Express Scripts to CVS Caremark effective July 1, 2024.
Avoid out-of-pocket costs by using only preferred drugs on the Funds’ Preferred Drug List.
For Long-Term Medications, Members Must Use the 90-Day RX Solution.
For medical exceptions to the CVS Caremark 1199SEIU PDL, including brand-name drug requests and CVS Caremark drug exclusions, please call (866) 814-5506.
Drugs Not Covered by the 1199SEIU Benefit Funds
- Cosmetic Drugs
- Non-sedating Antihistamines
- Fertility Drugs
- Over-the-Counter Drugs (except for diabetic supplies) or as mandated by PPACA legislation
- Investigational/Experimental Drugs
- Select Cough & Cold Drugs
- Erectile Dysfunction Drugs
