In Their Own Words - Aryan Lahar

I am currently a sophomore at the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management at Cornell University. During my freshman year, I attended the Macaulay Honors College at Hunter College in New York City, where I studied economics. Recognizing that my career aspirations in finance would be better aligned with opportunities at a different institution, I dedicated much of my time to researching and applying to universities that could provide the environment and resources I needed to grow.

This transition would not have been possible without the invaluable support of the Joseph Tauber Scholarship Program, which enabled me to focus on my academic and personal development without financial constraints. Since joining Cornell, I have had the privilege of becoming involved in several business organizations that are helping me refine the skills and knowledge necessary for a successful career in finance.

I remain incredibly grateful for the opportunities made possible through the Joseph Tauber Scholarship Program and am determined to make the most of them as I continue to grow both personally and professionally.
