For 2024-2025 Joseph Tauber Scholarship Program award recipients

2024-2025 Deadline Date

Document to Be Submitted
End of the school year but no later than July 18, 2025 (Friday)
  • 2024-2025 Official Transcript, if the student:
    • Maintained full-time status;
    • Received a 2024–2025 Joseph Tauber Scholarship award; and
    • Received a grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher in both the Fall 2024 semester and the Spring 2025 semester or either semester.
If your college’s Registrar can email an official transcript directly to us, provide them with our email address: 1199JTSP@1199Funds.org. If email is not an option, mail it to the following address:

Students who attended a study abroad program during the 2024–2025 academic year and students whose term ends in June/July, should call us at (646) 473-8999 or email us at 1199JTSP@1199Funds.org prior to the deadline of Friday, July 18, 2025.

Tax Statement

According to Internal Revenue Service (IRS) rules and regulations, the Funds consider the Joseph Tauber Scholarship benefit to be “taxable wages.” If a member’s child is awarded a scholarship, the value of the scholarship must be included on the member’s tax return when filing taxes the following year.
