After School and Day Care Reimbursement Instructions and Frequently Asked Questions

You were accepted for the Child Care Funds (CCF) Day Care or After School Reimbursement benefit, which reimburses you for the full or partial cost of your child-care expenses. In order to receive the reimbursement, you must submit your online reimbursement request each quarter by the Quarterly Reimbursement Request Deadline dates indicated. Please allow six weeks for processing.

The CCF does not make payments directly to the provider. Reimbursements go to you, the member. Please note that you will only receive reimbursement for direct child-care services. Other child care-related expenses, such as meals, books, registration fees and transportation will not be reimbursed.

1. What if I do not have a licensed provider?

CCF will reimburse you at the undocumented (babysitter) rate.

2. What if I am approved for a babysitter, but now I use a day care center?

Submit an email to CCFRegChanges@1199Funds.org and request to switch from “Unlicensed” to the “Licensed” reimbursement rate. Requests are not guaranteed as approval depends on fund availability.

3. My child is in day care now, but will start full-day school in September?

Submit your online request with your current provider’s information.

4. May I submit all four quarterly reimbursement requests at once, at the beginning of the year?

You can only submit one reimbursement request per quarter. Please follow the Quarterly Reimbursement Request Deadlines dates.

5. How do I complete my online reimbursement request?

Go to www.1199SEIUBenefits.org, click on “MyAccount,” select the “CCF Online” tab and click “CCF Benefits Management” to submit your reimbursement request. You can also check the status of your reimbursement request.

6. When will I receive my reimbursement?

Please allow up to six weeks after your reimbursement request and all supporting documents (if applicable) are received.

7. When I check my reimbursement request status, a status of “Pending” is listed. What does this mean?

Your reimbursement requires a change or further research, which we are currently working on.

8. What does “Received” mean?

Your reimbursement request has been received. If supporting documents are required and also received, money will be loaded to your Wisely PayCard in approximately six weeks. If supporting documents are required, but were not uploaded, you will receive an email informing you of missing item(s).

9. What does “Processed” mean?

Your reimbursement has been approved and sent for payment. You should expect a check or an upload to your Wisely account within 2 – 4 weeks.

10. What can I do if my reimbursement is not uploaded to my Wisely PayCard?

Visit https://info.mywisely.com/pay or call Wisely Customer Service at (866) 313-6901.

11. Can I still submit my reimbursement if I am on disability, Workers’ Compensation or paid maternity leave?

Yes. Submit a copy of your most recent disability or Workers’ Compensation paystub, and a copy of your last regular paystub. Your benefits will continue up to a maximum of 26 weeks while you are on leave. If you do not have a paystub, submit a letter from your employer stating that you are still employed at your institution and when your disability began.

12. Can I still receive reimbursement if I am on unpaid leave?

You are not eligible to receive benefits while on unpaid leave.

13. I want someone else to call on my behalf.

The CCF will discuss reimbursement information only with the member who received the benefit. Members who wish to authorize another individual to call on their behalf must submit a notarized letter granting permission.

14. What should I do if my school/provider does not have a stamp or seal?

You may include your cancelled check (front and back); official receipt/letter from the provider showing payment for the period covered; or Zelle payment confirmation (Zelle receipts must include the provider’s name, child’s name, date(s) and amount(s) paid).

15. What happens if I give false information on a CCF claim?

If you provide false or misleading claim information, you may be subject to a suspension of CCF benefits and be required to repay any reimbursements you were ineligible to receive.
